Seems gender and science are at the top of the list again. This time telling us (men and women) that we are different in ways that can be measured and accurately. Does this translate into your artwork?
I've never been interested in sexuality in my work although there have been times when gender has been important, although not by way of difference but by personal experience. Those are the drawings of construction workers, of which I've been. Read below and find out something...
The New Sex Scorecard: Put aside Simone de Beauvoir's famous dictum, "One is not born a woman but rather becomes one." Science suggests otherwise, and it's driving a whole new view of who and what we are. Males and females, it turns out, are different from the moment of conception, and the difference shows itself in every system of body and brain.
He and she: What's the real difference? According to a team of computer scientists, we give away our gender in our writing style.

MAeX - MiamiArtExchange.com relaunched yesterday. This site has changed and will now feature online art primarily, then writing and arts related news. This site used to belong to the arts community of Southeast Florida, but because they seemed to neglect it, I took it over to make it something good for our future and a broader world community of artists. Do you want to show some work online? Send a proposal...

Henri Cartier-Bresson, one of the world's greatest photographers, put down his camera nearly 30 years ago after capturing some of the 20th century's greatest historical moments and figures. I personally think he is one of the greatest photographers ever. His vision and anticipation of unfolding events makes him so. I normally work in the studio and not on the streets where he made his name. NPR's Susan Stamberg visits the 94-year-old legend in Paris, where a retrospective is on display. See his photos online.
